Mental health suffering has touched more and more families and churches in recent years. In the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic, the challenge has become more acute and left many parents and pastors urgently seeking help for those in their care —and even for themselves.

How can church leaders address the mental health needs of those they’re called to serve? What is the underlying nature of these needs? What kind of practices can churches, families, and individuals pursue in response?

Join us for a symposium featuring keynote speaker Curt Thompson, M.D., followed by a panel discussion with counselors Brandi Laperriere and Emily Lawyer. Hosted by the Institute for Theology and Public Life at RTS Washington, this event will help ground pastors, parents, and other mentors as they come alongside those facing mental health suffering.
